My drum tuning coaching helps drummers understand how tuning works and develop intentional, repeatable sounds through guided, hands-on instruction. Using my Tuning with Overtones method, I teach players how to work with drumhead coupling, overtone structure, tuning ranges, head selection, and musical context so they can confidently shape their own drum sound for live performance, studio recording, or everyday playing. Coaching also includes a companion textbook with quizzes, listening exercises, and hands-on tuning activities.

My drum lessons specialize in playing and practicing odd time signatures. I help drummers learn how to count, feel, and groove in unfamiliar meters using approachable exercises. Whether you are just getting started with 5/4 and 7/8 or want to explore more unusual rhythms, the goal is to help you play in any meter without worry and make odd time feel smooth and musical.
